Radiate

What was Radiate?

Radiate was an item introduced on June 1, 2001 that could be purchased from TPPC's Pokémart. If you attached a Radiate to an affected Pokémon and battled against the Evolution Gym, your Pokémon would turn into their Shiny or Dark counterpart, depending on if the player's faction was Team TPPC or Team Rocket.

Both the Pokémart and Radiate were completely removed from later versions of TPPC, making the item unobtainable now.

• ShinyPoliwhirl could only evolve into ShinyPolitoed and DarkPoliwhirl could only evolve into DarkPoliwrath, causing ShinyPoliwrath and DarkPolitoed to be unavailable at the time.
