What Are Turf Battles

Turf Battles were introduced in v8. They are battles where you fight a trainer from another faction. They are used for completing phases of your Faction Quests.

How to Encounter

• Simply click on any of the maps and eventually you'll be redirected to a page with a message saying the following:

"You Don't Belong Here! This map is our turf now! If you're planning to hang around and catch Pokémon, you better be ready to battle!"

• Click "Lets Battle" and you can fight one of the trainers. Each Team has its own Turf Leader that you must battle and defeat.
