Factions

On TPPC, there are a total of 5 Factions/Teams. These teams are originally derived from the games, with the exception of TPPC's own team. When players sign up on TPPC, they have a choice of 5 factions with 3 starter Pokemon each. The starters for each faction are:

Team TPPC

Team Rocket

Team Magma

Team Aqua

Team Galactic

In the past, some of the starter Pokémon became Level 4 (125 Exp) due to a change in the EXP formula. Now all starter Pokémon are level 5 by default.

What is the Team Stats Page?

It’s the page where players can find the weekly Promo and purchase some of the available items.

How to Get There?

  • Players can find their Team page under the section ‘Pokémon Centers’. It will be called whatever the player's faction is set as.

Ranks

Ranks are unlocked based on how much Team Stat Points your account has, to earn more Team Stat Points, you can battle accounts that are on a different team faction than you. Based on your Rank you can unlock various Promos/Items, and increase your trading cap.

Trade Limit (Cap)

Depending on the player's rank, players are allowed to trade up to certain levels. The higher a player's rank is, the higher their trade limit will be.

  • 0 - 999,999 points (Lieutenant or lower Rank) = Trading up to and including Level 2500.
  • 1,000,000 - 9,999,999 points (Captain Rank) = Trading up to and including Level 4000.
  • 10,000,000 - 99,999,999 points (Major Rank) = Trading up to and including Level 5500.
  • 100,000,000+ points (Colonel Rank) = Trading up to and including Level 7000.
  • 1,000,000,000+ points (General Rank) = Trading up to and including Level 8500.

Note:

  • "Trading up to Level 2500/4000/5500/7000" means once the players' pokemon reaches 2501/4001/5501/7001, they cannot trade that Pokémon until they reach the next rank.
  • The Trade Limits were increased to the above Levels on the 19th of June 2023. Prior to this, the Caps were 2499, 3000, 3499 and 4499. They were introduced in v8 of TPPC.
