Buying and Selling Guide
From TPPC Wiki
The price at which a Pokémon initially sells for on the Buy Pokémon page can be calculated by the following formula:
COST=(Pokémon's Total Experience Points * 10)
This market price will eventually decrease the more time a Pokémon spends on the Buy Pokémon page.
- Every hour, the price will be divided by the amount of hours since the Pokémon was sold.
- For example, a Pokémon which has been sold an hour ago will remain the same price, two hours ago will be 1/2 of its original price, three hours ago will be 1/3 the original price, four hours ago will be 1/4 of the original price, etc.
Once your Pokémon is bought, you will receive half of its market value. So, for example, if you sell a Pokemon for $1260, you would only make $630.
Pokémon disappear from the Buy Page after 48 hours.
Power Plant Discount
Players on the team which is currently in control of the Power Plant receive 33% off on the Buy Pokémon page. This discount only applies to the buyer, the seller still ends up making half of the market value of the original, non-discounted price.
Additional details
- In old versions of TPPC, there was a 'Black Friday' event where Pokémon were 40% off on the Buy Page.
