==What Is The Research Lab?==
TPPC has some of the best researchers in the world and their latest discoveries have been nothing but mind-blowing. As much as they love refining Rough Diamonds and Rough Pearls, they've also taken a real interest in the Rubys, Sapphires, and Emeralds that have started appearing. They're convinced that if you can gather enough fragments of each, they should be able to make something very special!

The researchers require 10 of an item before they can try to clean it up and turn it into something usable. Below is the listing of items the researchers are looking for, as well as how many of each you have. Once you have 10, you'll be able to ask researchers to convert them. Unlike before, the researchers don't need any assistance from Pokémon to experiment on your items, so your starter has no affect on their work.

At the Research Lab, you can also help with the Pokémon research. There are a total of '''788 different Pokémon''' within TPPC and it's recommended you try achieving 100% Pokédex completion! For a small fee, the researchers are willing to catalog all of your Pokémon and enter them into your Pokédex.

The only way to learn about all of the Pokémon available is to catch every Pokémon! Any time you add a Pokémon to your Pokédex, our researchers are able to review the data, so please be sure to keep it updated! Keeping your Pokédex updated will also allow you to collect special Research Lab prizes based on completion.
Simply click the 'Catalog My Pokémon!' link if you would like to let a researcher catalog your Pokémon for you, but please note that you can manually catalog your Pokémon for free.

What Is The Research Lab?

TPPC has some of the best researchers in the world and their latest discoveries have been nothing short of mind-blowing. Unfortunately, spending all their time researching leaves little time to recover the precious materials they need for their experiments. To get these materials, they need to rely on TPPC trainers like you! Can you help them out?

How To Get There

Simply click the 'Research Lab' link under Challenges.

Precious Gems

Over the past few years, TPPC researchers have gotten better and better at refining raw materials into valuable items. Though experimental and prone to failure, if you can bring them enough raw materials, there's a chance they'll be able to turn them into something special to help your Pokémon adventure!

Research All Pokémon

The only way to learn about all of the Pokémon available is to catch every Pokémon! Any time you add a Pokémon to your Pokédex, our researchers are able to review the data, so please be sure to keep it updated! Keeping your Pokédex updated will also allow you to collect special Research Lab prizes based on completion.

If you're in a hurry, you can have the researchers update your Pokédex for you. Select "Update Pokédex" below to begin the process.

  • Note - Not all Pokémon are currently available in TPPC. Currently there are 751 different Pokémons available in TPPC.

  • Complete 20% of your Pokédex in order to receive: Small Charm
  • Complete 50% of your Pokédex in order to receive: egg.gif Rare Egg
  • Complete 75% of your Pokédex in order to receive: 82.gif Pokédex Badge & 488.gif Cresselia.

Zygarde Cube

Zygarde is a particularly interesting Pokémon for TPPC researchers. Unlike most Pokémon which change and evolve outside of the Research Lab, the power of a Zygarde can only be unlocked through science. As you collect Zygarde Cores and Cells, the researchers will be able to use them to create and/or power up the legendary Pokémon Zygarde.
