Beside the Forums where you can talk and trade with people, you can also go onto the official TPPC chatrooms!

In the current version of TPPC, the chatroom used is hosted by Discord. Please visit that page or http://tppcrpg.net/chat.php for more information.

In the past, TPPC used an IRC client which was hosted on the RPG or also accessible separately. The following information is for historical purposes only.

What's an IRC?

Internet Relay Chat (IRC) is a protocol for real-time Internet text messaging (chat) or synchronous conferencing. It is mainly designed for group communication in discussion forums, called channels, but also allows one-to-one communication via private message as well as chat and data transfer, including file sharing. (Wikipedia)

The following guide covers 4 different free 3rd party software, it will teach you how to properly set up the program so you can easily hop in the Chatrooms whenever you feel like it

mIRC (Screenshots available)

mIRC is a commercial program, it expires after 30 days of use. You can still use it but you have to wait a little bit when the program starts.

Installing mIRC

You have to download mIRC http://www.mirc.com/get.html and install it on your computer.

Once you've opened the program, type the desired nickname into the <Nickname> box. <Alternative> nick is self-explanatory. Click on <OK> to proceed
