What is the Speed Tower?

357.gif

The Speed Tower is a new challenge on TPPC that was introduced in July of 2012 where TPPC local biker gangs give prizes to the trainers that finish their road fastest. Updated in April of 2017, the Researchers from the Research Lab have taken over the Speed Tower to bring a new test of your speed for brand new prizes!

The TPPC Research Lab has taken over the Speed Tower and they need your help! After opening a brand new track, the researchers found that the racing surface is covered with these bizarre green and black cores and cells. Though they appear harmless, the researchers want to get a better idea of exactly what they are.

Oddly enough though, the one thing these cores and cells both respond to is speed. Completing the Speed Tower as quickly as possible appears to give them the ability to clear these oddities from the track and get them back into the lab.

How can you help? The idea is simple -- the researchers select 20 random Pokémon and you try to defeat them in as few moves as possible and as fast as possible. Any time you click on the "Attack!" button or switch Pokémon, the researchers count that as a move.

Your "Total Moves" are recorded only when you've completely defeated the Speed Tower. Much like with the S.S. Anne, you can only record one score per day, so be sure to complete the battle only if your score is lower.

Prizes

To reward you, the researchers are giving away a bunch of prizes including some of the cores and cells they're collecting. They don't have enough to give them out to everyone though, so only certain people will make the cut. Daily winners, weekly winners, and monthly winners all receive great prizes, but at the end of the day if you manage to post the fastest time ever you'll be rewarded with something truly special

The prizes are listed below:

The daily winner also receives one of the following pokemon:
